The corona virus crisis is with us and it is not a lot of fun being stuck indoors. Whilst all the restrictions are in place, Colin (poco1) will be running three mentoring sessions in the Acol Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Tuesday - this is a free session from 2.00pm for about 2 hours.
All are welcome, but, as voice will be used, you need to log in on the latest BBO version, which is version 3, if you want to hear.
Players will take it in turns to sit at the table, to bid and play random hands. Colin will comment on both the bidding and play where appropriate.
Thursday - there are two 'charged for' sessions (each costing £20 per month). The first is at 10.00am for about 2 hours. The second is at 4.15pm, in particular for players in the USA, and also lasts for about 2 hours. Each session costs £20 per month (or the eqivalent in local currency). Anybody interested in joining the 'paid for' sessions should contact poco1 by BBO chat.
These two Thursday sessions are taught on Zoom - watching a teaching table and answering questions and suggesting bid or play. Any puzzles are explained and questions are answered.
If you are also a member of the IAC (Intermediate and Advanced Club) - Colin runs a free lesson on Monday evening, analysing hands from an IAC tournament. This session also uses Zoom.
Just look for poco1’s table to join in.
